VW Budburg @ Oulton Park

Well I'm sad to learn that 3 Sisters Race Circuit has gone into liquidation. It was the first race track I visited as a kid and the only one in Greater Manchester.

Feeling a little nostalgic I drove over to the next nearest race track at Oulton Park.

Oulton Park is far above the modest 3 Sisters so the journey is worth the effort and a look on their calender shows it to be hosting a Volkswagen Festival at the weekend.

I drove down on the Friday and caught some of the Beetle racing on a practice day.

Great chance to practice my panning skills.

I took the K-5II with the Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and

the K10D with the Sigma 17-50 f2.8
